GUIDELINES TO COPYRIGHT A DOCUMENT

A person wishing to copyright a document must place the document in a sealed envelope and request the Registered Mail Service at any post office.

The envelope must bear the name and address of the copyright holder as the “addressee”.

The customer should keep the receipt and ensure that when the item is delivered to them, it remains sealed.

This envelope should not be opened but kept in a safe place and presented to the court, unopened, in the event it is believed that their copyright is being infringed.
